Turmeric Sour Saison brewed with local Pilsner, Appalachian Wheat and Carolina Rye malts from Asheville’s Riverbend Malt House and Carolina Malt House, locally grown turmeric from Gregg’s Farm stand in Fairview (http://newmoonherbs.com) and spiced with Tellicherry Peppercorns. Gently kettle soured to a pleasant tartness (not the sour that makes you cringe). With subtly spicy piquant aromas, champagne-like delicate tart sourness, it is a festive happy drink perfect for warm days! Curcumin from turmeric root and piperine from peppers are supposed to be a powerful combination for better health.
