This watermelon wheat ale is brewed with local malts from Riverbend and Carolina Malt, and secondary fermentation on local, fresh organic watermelons from Farmer Gregg’s Produce in Fairview, NC.
Fruity aroma, tart/crisp wheat beer with hints of watermelon (not overpowering and no dominant esters). Super refreshing and crushable, spirit brightening! A dollar for every pint sold of this beer will go to a fund to help Farmer Gregg with his crop loss. Farmer Gregg lost all of his crops along Garren Creek in Fairview, NC due to the floods caused by Fred tropical storm.
